Class 2 Box Van Driver

Full time ‘Man in a Van’ service position

We are currently looking for a Class 2 Qualified Box Van Driver.

We are a large family run company based in Rotherham, servicing South Yorkshire for over 35 years.

This position is full time with optional weekly/monthly pay. 

This position will see you take full responsibility for our ‘Man in a Van’ service, covering both commercial and domestic customers across the region. This work mainly includes waste removal site clearances of all shapes and sizes. Collected waste will need returning to our recycling facility at our Rotherham head office.

Tasks and duties will include:

  • Perform ‘Man in a Van’ services to commercial and domestic customers.
  • Delivery and exchange of waste containers across the region.
  • Safely loading and unloading waste according to site protocol.
  • Efficiently and professionally communicate with colleagues, management, customers and suppliers.
  • Driving and general maintenance of company vehicles including Luton van and a 7.5 tonne van.

Applicants require the following:

  • Previous experience driving a Class 2 vehicle.
  • Previous dealings with customers and suppliers managing relationships in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Valid Class 2 UK driving license free from any disqualifications.
  • Over 25 years old due to vehicle insurance perimeters.

We are currently looking for a Customer Services Operative.

We are a large family run company based in Rotherham, servicing South Yorkshire for over 35 years.

This position is full time with optional weekly/monthly pay. 

Within this role you will be supporting our customers and answering queries via email and telephone within a busy, fast-paced environment at our Head Office in Rotherham.

Tasks and duties will include:

  • Answering telephone calls from a range of customers
  • Assisting our customers when booking their skip service
  • Accurately receiving data and inputting into our system
  • Providing an exceptional level of customer service
  • Working within part of a busy team
  • Obtaining information to offer solutions to our customer’s queries
  • Resolving any issues efficiently and effectively

We are currently looking for a Refuge/Bin Wagon Driver to work alongside our dedicated team.

We are a large family run company based in Rotherham, servicing South Yorkshire for over 35 years.

The job is full time – hourly salary dependant on experience. Optional weekly/monthly pay. Uniform is supplied.

The job entails 42 1/2 hours. You will be completing all tasks and duties required for driving around the local area, picking up and delivering waste material.

Tasks and duties will include:

  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks
  • Making sure that the load is correctly placed and is secure
  • Driving vehicles to their destination
  • Unloading according to site requirements
  • Filling in defect records for the truck

Bin Technician – Trade Waste Dept

We are currently looking for a Bin Technician to take full responsibility for the maintenance and repair of our bin department within Trade Waste.

We are a large family run company based in Rotherham, servicing South Yorkshire for over 35 years.

The job is full time – hourly salary dependant on experience. Optional weekly/monthly pay. 

The job entails 40 hours. You will be completing all tasks and duties required for the upkeep of our site bin department, along with ad hoc van driving responsibilities to support our ‘Man in a Van’ service.

Tasks and duties will include:

  • Maintenance and repair of waste containers – 240 litre, 360 litre, 660 litre, 1100 litre, 6-yard front end loader (FEL) and 8-yard front end loader (FEL).
  • Repairs include (but are not limited to) container bodies, container lids, wheels, fixings and accessories.
  • Work with associated 3rd party suppliers to control stock/inventory.
  • Provide stock/inventory reports to the Trade Waste office.
  • Delivery and exchange of waste containers across the region.
  • Up-keep and maintenance of the Trade Waste facility inline with health and safety requirements.
  • Efficiently and professionally communicate with colleagues, management, customers and suppliers.
  • Driving and general maintenance of company vehicles including Luton van.
  • Perform ‘Man in a Van’ services to commercial and domestic customers.
