KCM presents £2,100 to Cash for Kids following charity wing walk
KCM Waste Management has presented £2,100 to Cash for Kids South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire after Ellie and Keith Hickling took to the skies for a charity wing walk.
The challenge saw Ellie and Keith step outside their comfort zones and onto the wings of a plane, raising money to support children and families across our region.
Following the fundraiser, we were pleased to welcome Cash for Kids to KCM for the cheque presentation and celebrate the generosity of everyone who supported the challenge.

From everyone who donated to those who shared the fundraiser and cheered Ellie and Keith on, thank you for helping us reach £2,100.
As a family business based in Rotherham, supporting our local community means a great deal to us. It was lovely to hand over the donation and see the challenge turn into support for a charity making a difference close to home.
Cash for Kids’ “Raised Local, Stays Local” approach means the money raised will support children in our area.
Our next challenge: Mission Christmas
Our support for Cash for Kids continues this Christmas as we get involved in Mission Christmas, helping provide gifts for children who might otherwise wake up without a present on Christmas morning.
KCM will be a gift drop-off point, giving our team, customers and the wider community somewhere to bring their donations. We’re also supporting the appeal by providing five 8-yard skips.
If you would like to donate a gift, we can only accept new, unopened presents. Every gift donated will help Cash for Kids bring some Christmas excitement to a child who might otherwise go without.
We’re also excited to share that each gift dropped off at our drop off point, equals one entry to win a Table of 6 at any Rotherham United home match… in hospitality!
